"I have always made accessories, " she says, who at first thought that the sculptures and costume jewellery were a hobby because she attended classes at the University of Buenos Aires manipulating their wires and pliers. Monica says she knew the aluminium by pure chance and was enchanted with it. "I made the first wire bracelet I found in the remains of a building. A few days later I had orders from my schoolmates, and then I started selling them in stores, all in Buenos Aires. " In 2011, Monica Krexa opened her shop in Rua das Pedras, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
