The founder, Mr. Lorenz, learned the profession of gemstone-engraver of arms and monogram-engravings with the firm Julius Brill and then worked as a journeyman for the company Hermann Rassweiler. After five years he passed the journeyman’s exam and was awarded the master’s certificate (Meisterbrief) by the Chamber of Handicrafts. He founded his own company. With great expertise, his body of experience and reliability he managed, together with his wife Inge, to establish a large customer base. Their two sons, also learned the trade of gemstone-engraver. Due to the excellent technical training from their father, the company developed into a powerful family enterprise, which specializes in fine engravings and signet rings.
