Tabito is a japanese name that is written with two characters. The first one ? " tabi " means travel, the second one ?"hito" means human. Designers collaborated since 3 years in creating hand made upcycled jewellery with antique or vintage jewellery and objects that have lost their functionality. Using different techniques of metal work and silver smithing, each piece that comes out of they silversmith workshop and forge is unique. Different materials are used : silk kimono, semi precious stones, steel, brass, vintage and antique chains, mechanical parts coming from sewing machines or typing machines.
